matsimela's bio
Matsimela Ajani
has been a disciplined practitioner of body science for over a decade.
He has studied various martial arts from Bagua, to Xing Yi Quan, to Tai
chi Quan-- all known as traditional internal style arts which
incorporate an understanding of breathe with movement to maximize
overall health. As a dedicated student and teacher of yoga, Matsimela
received his teacher certification in the Sivananda tradition.
Combining elements from his various practices and as a certified
reflexologist, Matsimela provides a holistic approach to yoga, creating
a powerful and synergistic connection between mind, body and soul.
How do people describe Matsimela's style? Matsimela's
classes attract everyone from tri-athletes to those whose most frequent
exercise is typing. Whatever your level, you can depend on Matsimela's
challenging classes to help you work up a sweat, tone up, and stretch
out. Matsimela's classes are not usually built around sun salutations,
so don't expect a "Flow" class. Matsimela relies on his unique
combination of training to teach classes that lead you to better
awareness of your self and yoga postures without wordy or preachy
explanations.
