Michelle Mae, E-RYT 200 and Senior Yoga District Instructor, has been practicing and teaching yoga for the past 13 years, having trained in Sivananda, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa. She also teaches meditation and is a practitioner of several yogic traditions, eastern and western. Michelle encourages the understanding that yoga is primarily a personal practice, an invaluably rich and informative individual experience not only of the body, but of the mind. Her classes provide a balance of self-awareness and self-discovery by going beyond one's limited perceptions, allowing people to connect more deeply with their own authentic power and energy.
